Hope that east wind holds for you guys... I think I'm just going to wait until tomorrow, if the weather stays decent.

I might be wrong but the East winds are suppose to die off this afternoon...Unless, you drop everything - get in your car and start running lights....

From IWindsurf:

Quote:
Western: Easterly flow builds thru AM hrs at Rooster / Stevenson. May see 18-22 range, flow actually building into the early PM rather than traditional fall-off.

Also NOAA looks strong till 5pm... Usually strong east winds are good till 3pm.

Ok guys please post a report. If you got to do the downwinder etc. I have not had great luck self launching at Home Valley after I launched my buddies, its a tricky one. We went surfing behind the Sarge's boat, on the butter east of the hood river bridge Smile

Downwinder had a lot of casualties, kites in the water, long swims, self rescues to huge log cabins... needless to say we regarded it as highly successful! Wink

For last man launch, I hear the swim beach at Home Valley is better... but better do it when nobody is around. Otherwise you can try a drift launch.

Yeah a huge success. I found a house for sale with its own kite launch beach! It even has a grassy area to roll up your kites. So now the bad news...... $1,900,000.00

Can I borrow some money from you guys? Say about $1.9 mil?
