Kited Sherman for the first time yesterday, thanks to KiteKarl for showing me the ropes. Awesome little spot, the wind is something else.
Imagine if you took the Oregon Coast and The Dalles and stuck them within 30 miles of each other... basically you get super hot valley and cold bay. Its windy like every day all day. 9m-11m conditions. Not so much that you are jumping the biggest jumps ever but steady and good for learning new stuff and wakestyle.
Also some flat water areas similar to SPI or Hatteras. Water was very warm, wore a shorty but could have gone without. I think air temp is pretty much over 80 everyday by this time of year.
The only bummer is the launch is very small, really only 1 can go out at a time. I went there on a Friday during the middle of the day so it was pretty empty, but I guess on weekends its nuts. On the water there is tons of room though so once you get out you are good. I think I'd make good use of a jetski to find my own launches if I lived there.

Thanks for hosting dude! It was awesome, hey it actually came up yesterday, I got a good hour and a half on the 11m before I wanted something smaller... then I just opted to get home because it was the last day to visit with my mom.

Yeah, it's jetty steady style wind but in the 10-12m range and not 14-16m range. 
BTW, if you haven't rode jetty, make a point of it. it's that steady.

Yeah, shorts only is all you need. Though I did wear a shorty the first day because I forgot to bring a rashguard.
