FYI, it is going to cost a bit more to "get salty" in Tillamook County next year.

Honestly, it’s time. You can’t park for free at many forest areas so why at the beach? I love the beach and will happily pay.

It would be great to go Lord of The Rings:

"One Pass To Rule Them All"

I don't mind paying for access, but the number of passes I have to get each year begs for consolidation:

SnoPark
OregonParksPass
NW Forrest Pass
WA Rec Pass (Dougs, Hatchery)
etc

Nice to consolidate if possible

Pollywog, I couldn't agree with you more. It was just an FYI.

Did you happen to drive by the masses of cars at Short Sands this past summer? Biggest and worst crowds/crowding I have ever witnessed. I don't really know how the State is going to address the crowds in the future? I doubt it is legal to bump up the fee for that particular State Park? That would cut some #'s for a bit, anyways. Kind of similar to the crowding up at Meadows IMHO.

I wouldn't mind paying a bit more in taxes to not have to worry about all these joykill passes, parking fees, user fees blah blah. Common good, man. Running to take cover now...

This is what overpopulation looks like.

The unwashed masses will just drive further south...
