From the Port's perspective - it's not all about kiters.  There are many other beach users - more than usual this summer.
 
The busiest days in July were caused by a big influx of non-kiters hanging out at the Event Site and on the Sandbar.
 
The Port is trying to encourage non-kiters to stay away from the Event Site and Sandbar.
 
The idea is that they can go to the Marina beach instead.
 
It's not a perfect solution - but these are challenging times. |
