10 to 50 at Swell at 3:20! These are the gnarliest conditions I have see here in 30 years. Only one lonely windsurfer left with thunderstorms approaching from the south.

Fun stuff! Looks like we cleared pretty much everyone before the sky opened up. Had one gust lift me out of the water levitating on a 5m with the kite fully sheeted out. Only thing I could say is people need to be proactive in catching kites in these conditions, as there's not much beach and really swirly winds inside.

I hear you on people need to be more proactive on catching kites in these conditions!
Saw and helped a couple of very close calls at the event site today.
Thanks to Dana from Promotion Wetsuits for jumping in to help with the two tangled kites also!
The launch was turbulent and unpredictable with the gusty south west winds today.
It's in our best interest as kiters to look out for each other.
Especially on big days.
