Any communist, Chinese or any other is a cancer of this World. It is immoral to have anything to do with a communist. Unfortunately, many have no idea what communism really is, they don't recognize communists partly because communists know how to fool people pretending they are something else and partly because people don't understand what communism is, they are not educated enough about the subject. There was never in the history a communist country because those naive communist ideologists always lost to the sharks dictators. And socialism is just one step away from communism. If you want to avoid problems like the one we are going through ban countries like China from your life. |

Communism is inseparable from totalitarianism. This is communism's fatal flaw. When resources are pooled, and there is no scaling reward for hard work and ingenuity, no one has any incentive to work hard or be ingenuitive. Thus work must be forced at the point of a gun, and leadership must be willing to ignore any morality to maintain control and productivity.
Time and time again this is been proven, and not just in communist countries. Communes of the 60s and 70s in this country failed miserably because the few that did do the work or provide the ingenuity, pretty much entirely supported those who did not do the work or provide ingenuity.
Don't get me wrong, I would love communism to have worked. But I am not a dreamer who is capable of ignoring history and reality. _________________ MSN has temporarily removed commenting on our websites while we explore better ways for you to engage in discussion on the issues you care about. |

@Obakarama You're a racist and bigot and you should be banned from this kiteboarding forum for being one. The original question of this thread is whether or not to go kiteboarding. This is not a forum for you to convey your negative, hateful and frankly racist comments. _________________ I don’t know about you, but I take comfort in that, knowin’ he’s out there. The Dude. Dude, don't feed the trolls. They will only go away if you ignore them.
Nak - interesting so much evidence is now suggesting coronavirus is so much more widespread, and probably less deadly than we previously thought. There also seems to be evidence transmission of the virus is pretty unlikely outdoors with lots of UV light, good air circulation (aka WIND!). |

Hey, dude abides, ban me, comrade. Wouldn't be first time when little bolsheviks silence freedom of speech. |

Man, I hope this is true. Has to be, we all know kiting is very healthy.

Ohhh Now you believe the science...

I always believe well done scientific inquiry, just haven’t seen much of it with this acute reaction. Lots of poorly gathered partial info (understandably) and guessing.
And no, I don’t believe those numbers either, I just HOPE they’re accurate.
Stay safe and healthy however you can. _________________ curiously observing blurry patterns while slightly distracted |

Personally I now can't wait for the stay-at-home measures to be lifted so that Matt V (and I for that matter) can get back to work (and off this forum) and so that people can stop posting opinion pieces disguised as incontestable fact. It seems to me that we don't know much because we really only started asking the questions. In response to this someone will certainly blame the Chinese in their reply.
As a kiter who is at risk with a suppressed immune system it's pretty hard for me to watch the Koch Brothers sponsored "protests" or listen to the accusations of communism and totalitarianism that are being touted right in my own back yard. Why the hell do we Americans, more so than most nations on the earth, have to constantly lean on the ethos that the individual is more important the the team? What ever happened to "the greater good?"
I'll be certain to get my next life insurance payment in on time at least. |

Damn, with the “chief of neuroradiology” speaking I was hoping for for some real information about reactions & causes from X-ray, CT scans, MRI or something. Nope, just an opinion piece and rehash of the old. Ah well, at least it’s better news than the panic nonsense.
So, after all this crazy it might just turn out to be a slightly worse than normal influenza epidemic. _________________ curiously observing blurry patterns while slightly distracted |
