We've done well in avoiding the mass of scam accounts since implementing some changes back in mid-August. However, it can be a pain. For new users (those seeking to have a new NWKite account), make sure you list a location. I'm spending way too much time trying to vet potential accounts (those that aren't obvious scammers) to try and insure you are not a scammer before approving. I'm of the mind that if you do not enter a location, then you will not get approved from this point forward. Thank you.
4/23/20: Due to a bug in the system (this really, really, really old unsupported system), new users get an error message when trying to join. Sorry about that and I have zero clue how to fix it (unless leaving it wide-open, which causes way too many spam/scam problems if you all recall). If the new user has a friend on here, then that friend can PM me with the new user's username and I can manually activate the account (but I need the Username). The new user must go through the entire online registration process. At the end, he/she will get an error message. At that point, I can activate the account. Again, I will need the exact username to do so. Again, PM ONLY please. Thanks.
