I got a Noir Matter Quark a while back and finally got a chance to try it out. Without a gimbal, string mount videos would make me seasick after a few seconds of watching with all the spinning and bouncing. Pretty stoked with the way the Quark will smooth out all the crazy motion and make the horizon pretty much fixed throughout all the video shoot.
Here is my first Quik clip that I put together using the Quark gimbal and a GoPro Silver 7 string mount camera system.

Curious if anyone else is experimenting with gimbals for any other sports and applications. |

This is good footage and the price is comparable to some others non-waterproof that I've looked at for kiting and cycling. Can they be purchased in a local shop, or just online?
Also, is that something under the water at 0:53? |

I purchased mine directly from Noir Matter.

I am pretty sure that is a sea lion or a very large seal. I never saw it while I was riding and only discovered it while editing the video. The water was only about 2-3 feet deep at that location. |
