I'm looking at driving out from Hood River and back the same day. The iKiteSurf forecast for Manzanita looks a little better for Monday afternoon than Tuesday (wind strength and direction), but I'm much less familiar with what to look for there than in the Gorge. I've ridden there and Fort Stevens before. Moderate waves preferred over huge. Which day and where on the North coast would you go?

I’m going fort Stevens today. We usually park in A, then launch, and then the truck comes to the beach and follows along....it’s a good truck...we’ve trained it well Laughing

If you need a ride back, look for the white Dodge Ram. I’ll probably be there around 1ish.

Are you sure you didn't mean Lot B? Lot A cuts into one's downwind mileage some.

I'd hit Fort Stevens today instead of Manzo.

Thanks for the replies! I'm on my way to Fort Stevens, arriving around 12:30. I may leave my Onewheel at Shipwreck, will have a red Tesla at Lot B. I can use the summon feature to pull it out of my garage, but it won't meet me at Shipwreck.

Any reports from the north coast today?
Thinking about heading to Manzo tomorrow
Anybody have any options or wisdom on expected conditions tomorrow?

It was great today.

I don't have "coastal" high hopes for tomorrow - even Manzanita. I expect things to be offshore just enough so that the stronger winds are less likely to make it in close to shore.

Rooster Rock, on the other hand. Just my guesses...
