cabrinha riders shawn and jessie richmond will be in the gorge tomorrow and want to ride and hang out with the locals.

if you haven't seen these kids kill it you should- they share a stoke and contagious energy that is from the heart.

should be in stevenson or the sandbar... TBA.

he's getting screws put into his ankle at the hospital. getting out of surgery right about now i think.

good thing is the doctor said prior to the operation that he would be on the water in 6 weeks. Shocked

Did Jessie hurt himself at the sandbar?

I saw the brothers last year at Stevenson, they are sick riders and really cool people.

Yeah, we were there when it happened. He was throwing down some really sick stuff in the shallow pool at the sandbar. He was doing some unhooked move and looked like he landed hard on his foot/board, going backwards during a missed handlepass.

Hope he heals fast, he was certainly fun to watch, and I am glad the doc said he would only be out for 6 weeks.

6 weeks bummer, but not the end of the world I guess... it really sucked as it seemed they were just warming up when it happened, the first 15 minutes of the show was really good. Got some footage of the crash, if the bro's are interested I could cut it for them.

Hey Guys, I just got back home to maui and I my foot hurts like a mother!!! I was trying a double back role kite loop handlepass (Shawn kinda invented it and it looks insane) but landed backwards wrong and snapped both sides of my ankle. So now I got 2 pins in it and I will be out of the water for 6 weeks Sad

but it could be worse.

Also if it was easy a cut of it would be super cool.

And, Thank you so much to every one who helped me out. I really appreaciate it and I am stoaked to know that there are so many nice, cool and caring people up there. you guys are the best!!!!!

Sorry we didn't come out to help you sooner, it looked like you had just taken a nasty fall, but we figured you would just bounce back up. I am sure phil will hook you up with a cut.

Hopefully you guys make it back out after you are healed up. It is always fun watching kiters of your caliber throwing down new tricks. Getting to watch Ruben earlier in the month and now you and your brother, it has been a treat Cool

Seeing the kind of stuff pro's throw down really pushes the rest of us to go for it.

Yeah dude that sucks, I broke my ankle last winter and that took me out for like 12 weeks. See you back up here in half that time!
