| I have been hearing a lot about Rufus - where is it at? Also, when does it blow? I don't see a sensor on ikitesurf.com - is there a sensor somewhere out there or are there other signs to tell you when its going to blow? |

| sensor is maryhill take rufus exit head to river turn left go to end of road. The current is very strong and the down river barges come out of the locks and come at you twice as fast as you expect. |

For rufus, the one thing to look out for are what I call onshore winds.
If the wind has a North cant to it, you will have a very frustrating time as the wind is now coming down the Washington hills and swirling about.
This is when you need to high tail it out to Roosevelt or 3 mile or boardman. Your already this far, a little further won't be too costly.
