we should probably let the slingy guys answer that as it's a proto they are testing, but they have been busy on some beautiful kites the last few days.

As for the beach scene, we've hit it twice so far on 10-13M kites a little underpowered but the forecast is looking up starting Monday. Our launch spot is a few miles up the strip and we come out with a one block walk to the house, so ideal location with the ability to kite flat water and the ocean within a 10 min drive. What's strange for a Gorge kiter is wearing a shorty to help block the sun, not the cold water... sorry to be such an ass by rubbing it in. Very Happy

Okay cool. Looks like the one Amery was on a couple weeks back at Lyle. Just couldn't tell if it was a proto or not, 'cause it looked like a production color scheme.

Beach clean up SPI style.
We woke this morning to over a foot deep of seaweed on the beach. This guy has lots of work to do today. The water is fine just a mess on the beach. We rode the 16's mainly yesterday and mowed the lawn a lot.

Hey, good to see you guys down in Padre.
I need to lay down some specs and give credit where credit is due.
Although I work for Sling. The rashguard props have to go out to HYPERFLEX WETSUITS - Enjoy 'em and check out their website.
From someone who HATES wearing rubber, these are the most comfortable, yet.
JIM
P.s. - any photos caught of me. NOT for the ego boost, just want some for myself. THX

Another 9m-11m day and I am wiped, couldn't do too much with it. Glad Nicole got 3/4 days for her weekend trip, could have made it 4/4 but she was too tired to chase it yesterday. Looks like it will be windy for the rest of trip and then die a bit, so for once I timed it perfect!

Take enough kitetrips and your going to get skunkers and your going to get one like this, if I get 8/8 days I will be truly stoked.

Can't wait for next April in SPI. Very Happy

Jim - thanks for the rashguards! We didn't get to thank you proper, sorry!! I owe you a beer or 3. I'll ask Colby about shots...

Still warm and windy down here in SPI. I've been on the water every day I've been here I think. Southwest Airlines has $99 each way flights mid week so come on down. We might be running out of Rum but the wind has run out. Here's a few pics.

Tony put his kite into one of those big catcus like trees. Ouch!
