Good question. Its been blowing consistanly all morning. Ikite calls for it to be steady thru about 4pm.
Of course the wind gods can do wierd things!

that tree in the cam is a great "live" wind indicator..
looks light but do-able, saw a white trooper 2 parked there for a bit, then the rain came....looks nice now.

yah, same with the sandbar cam... if you point at the corridor preset, not only do you see the wind coming down the gorge, you can also see a tree whipping in front of it.

| we made it to lyle about 3:15, i was lit out of my mind on my 9m. why oh why didn't i bring my 8m octane. It was damn near survival kiting it was so gusty, some pretty killer swell tho.

Yeah the swell way upwind was good. Kind of a wierd cross current making big A frame waves.

where do you get your info? ikite is saying 1-5mph at maryhill 8-9mph at rufus and averaging 11mph at arlington. the windiest spot in the gorge is front and center at the event site, avergaing 13mph, hope you got a machine or a 16m shockwave or soemthing else that is big.

hmmm..;
Well, thought I was outta here and hour ago...
I got a 16m Assault.. and a skim.
I just am always tenative, when I look at the cams, and no locals are out there.
