I've seen some fotos on fb of really short boards for foiling, i think they were from the gorge. I think it were Slingshot-Protos and about only 38-40"long. Shorter than the SS Dwarfcraft 42". Has anyone experiences with those boards and can share them? Any disadvantages? I only ride strapless.
I'm planning to build myself such a board for traveling with only 38" x 17" x 1 3/8". Core is eps with a glassed 2 mm Herex as a "jacket". This construction is really lightweight (1,6 kg) and the Herex outside doesn't soak water and can also take some impacts.

"Servus" from Austria!
