That's pretty intense- those fins look huge. It's so close to the ocean that it doesn't seem too surprising to me. But I don't know too much about normal shark behavior.

Lot D, especially the North bank on the river vs the lagoon just got a bit less crowded with newbies Maybe vet riders too?
Maybe Jones also?
And for all the doubters who said I didn't see a Great White a few years back at the break at Del Ray Beach, I say, SUCK IT!

could be a salmon shark - they also get really big
not too surprising - tho does keep you on your toes - we had a grey whale nearly take us out in the kayak in 10' of water on the channel side of lot D and last year humpbacks went up past the Megler bridge - the anchovies gets so thick at times it pulls your fishing line

I think reg said it best quatch "If you take all our comments literally you may get real down." It's definitely hanging in your craw for way too long, just like that seal in mouth of the shark I'm pretty sure nobody thinks sharks aren't common in the PNW. Munch munch

Be safe out there
I like to focus on the no shark side of the cup.
Its way more fun to think of fun things when kiteboarding.
