Coming soon: 500' boosts using your own personal helicopter.

But then again, why bother surfing with it, why not just fly?? Haha Smile

Perfect for those calm days when you need a fix! And I thought everything had already been invented.

I was curious and looked up the specs on that drone from Freefly Systems:
- $17,500
- 20 lb payload capacity (if you notice in the video he gets a running start and throws down his skimboard. This does not have enough juice to do a waterstart.)
- 15 minute run time with that payload

So, an interesting & fun proof-of-concept, but these puppies have a long way to go ...

Ahhhh disposable income. and I thought kites were spendy. I wonder how long it will be and how much it will be before a drone is available that can haul my 220lb subframe around for hours and hours...

Insitu - have any refurbs???

I would rather have a jet surf. These drones have no torque and very short run times
