Air Pirates Kiteboarding is happy to have F-One at Jones Beach tommorrow

SUNDAY 7/24 F-One is bringing a truck load of Kites, Boards and SUP's. The plan so far is Jones Beach on Sunday.

MONDAY 7/25 Manzanita for some surf and coastal riding. Come early to play with a SUP board then when the wind picks up grab a surf board.

Looks like Jones Beach is the place to be today.... Good thing we have F-One here with a van full of gear for you to try out and play with Razz

Moderate westerlies confined to Jones Beach. The Coast again sees strong northerlies.

7AM UPDATE: Mt. Hood looks glorious in the morning sun. In fact, the entire Gorge and Lower Columbia are virtually cloud free and the low clouds aren't even hugging the Coast. This as ridging expands up over Oregon and the temperatures heat up fast today with upper 80's for Hood River and low to mid 90's out East. Meanwhile, the pressure gradients fall flat. In fact, Portland to the Dalles has plummeted to +0.04" and The Dalles to Pasco is already flat. Look for light winds that maybe be variable at times for the Gorge. Meanwhile, though, the Lower Columbia benefits from a healthy thermal gradient that results in some solid winds for Jones Beach and probably Sauvie Island. And the western and central Gorge creep up slightly late. Meanwhile, the Coast sees strong NW to NNW winds today.

Oregon Coast: Low clouds along the North Coast early, but these clear and the Coast sees afternoon sun. The North Coast reaches afternoon NW near 20's. Manzanita and the Central Coast reach NW mid 20's. The South Coast reaches NNW upper 20's. NW swell 2 ft at 10 seconds.

Lower Columbia/Western Gorge (Jones Beach to Stevenson): Mostly sunny. Jones Beach reaching afternoon WNW low 20's. Sauvie reaching NW mid to spotty upper teens. Stevenson mild much of the day, but seeing modest late day westerly gains to spotty upper teens.

Corridor(Viento to Sandbar): Sunny and reaching upper 80's. Light winds much of the day, but some late afternoon westerly gains to mid to faint upper teens.

We are moving the demo for this Monday (today) back to Jones Beach. Jones was so awesome yesterday, super steady winds, a perfect day and The forecast for Jonesis even better today!!!!

F-One is going to stick around one more day so we will be at Manzanita Tuesday for sure. looks to be super sunny and warm with a 4-6 foot swell to shred on and a mid 20's wind.
