I'll be somewhere in the gold coast area. I know it's winter, just wondering about the wind? If it's like July in the Sydney area it's pretty slim pickin's for sailable wind. The steady NE'ers don't show up till Oct. There is a lot of off shore westerlies in the winter and there may be places up there to ride them. Good swell in the winter tho, with offshores...and tasty XXXX beer. Watch out for the possum stew.
