We have not gone to SPI in the last couple of years because the wind seems less consistent. The best way to go there is to look at the wind and schedule at the very last minute of it looks good.

Nothing much to do there when there is no wind.

Yeah... there was wind but just on the edge of being enough to ride. I spent the last week on the 12m & 14.5m Flites doing down-winders from Beach Access #2 to roads end on the gulf side.

I guess after back to back years of great kiting there I became spoiled and entitled; I went in thinking everyday was going to be awesome flying 10m kites everyday.

I should shut up though I had fun and it was warm and I got to kite and relax. I just looked at forecast for Deadhorse - It's expected to be -6 and blowing 30 when I get to work so I should soak up the warmth while I can.
