Went to brasil recently and had my link, red bridled there... love it!
you can ride hooked, or unhooked it will still be a stable kite, just like fuels. You just wont have the grunt of the fuel, the rest is the same... to me it looks like, people who are looking for a kite like fuel, but less grunt, should buy this one!
Low end is indeed not like TD's (I could go on endlessly with my TD12, even below 10 kts!! not with my Link 12, unless on a strapless Fun-Wave-board which is like 7.2")
but as I believe in riding always in the sweet spot of your kite, so 3 kites, NO 1 kite quiver, they work for me!
below some pix of me and my link in brasil...

btw, thanx chris for getting the bridles just in time to belgium (to me) back in december!! THAT'S costumer service!

thanx guys! I really enjoyed brasil..
has anyone been to SA and brasil? so you can compare the two...
I'm doubting to go to Safrica this year, or else back to brasil...
or pherhaps Vietnam?
anyone an idea of pro's and con's...?

another thing; anyone an idea about kitelooping with the link? with fuels, I just grab one side of the bar and it loops, now when I do it with the links, the kite spins almost around its axis and gives no power! what should I do?

Did you actually catch a wave on the Slingy Board?

The footstraps must of been in the way?

Looks like a nice place from the other pics not listed.

about the kitelooping try holding on with one hand on the center and one more twords the edge. the links get some powerful loops if you dont crank them too hard.

Here is a good way to maximize and increase the power of your Link in 4 line red bridle !

1. Attach the Y bridle on the closest knot to the kite.
2. Attach trailing edge flying lines towards the closest knot towards the kite.
3. Attach Leading edge flying lines on the knot farthest away from the kite.

Cheers
