Not only to SKI - but to Snow Kite also.

Kites are all washed, lines waxed, bars tight - let the snow fall and accumulate so the wind and gravity can take me away.

I am ready to ski and snowboard, but Mt Hood certainly isn't.

I can remember getting a good powder day at Timberline on Halloween about 10 years ago, but I'm afraid it might be a longer wait for snow this season.

I am buying a new full wetsuit so I can stay on the river for at least another month (or until the snow falls).

We just scored an awesome price on a November ski adventure to the Antarctic Peninsula. If interested, PM me and I can share the info (they don't want the price published around the internet). Really great deal.

Just happens I am back in New England visiting family right now. Snowed yesterday and 2 ski resorts are open. Huge Winter! Will post some photos of a recent ski, snow kite, and kite surf trip to Chile soon. Gotta get it when it happens.

Silverton has it.

The other forum has a interesting discussion going about world winds reducing..... which led to climate change and lots of pages of posts .

Winter is open for interpretation....... randomness. Its mother nature.

PostThu Nov 19, 15 9:22 am    Finally!! After 3 years my schedule works out.... Reply with quote

The trip is on the books!!

For anyone making the trip to Lovell and the Bighorns event this year. I will there Dec. 7th thru the 14th and able to shuttle a few people with gear daily from Lovell to the Crystal Creek parking lot to catch the snowcat.

Dan
