Does anyone out there have any thoughts about what brands of foil set ups may favor riders of differing weights? Is there something that is going to work better for a light rider versus a heavy rider? I am around 235lbs and imagine there might be some foils that lift easier and stay up better for a person my size.

I would say most of the non racing foils will get you up, but you will just need an extra knot to get foiling. A big consideration is the board itself and ideally you will want a board that has more volume to help you with water starts and transitions.
