In the Hideout at Rufus - and after two days of late afternoon marginal sessions between the buggy and the water I may join you. Depends though, I plan on migrating to the southern coast Saturday until it dies out so Rosie may be my plan B (to save some driving time) if the winds here at Rufie come over the hills instead of from the WSW.

A week ago Roosevelt was evacuated due to the fire. You would think that it is open now, but I haven't heard for sure. Besides, I'm not sure if Rosie is actually saving you much drive time when you account for the freeway factor.

Windy enough for some duders to put on a high-flying show!

Hope so. So lit....and punchy.....6M craziness. I saw the young Christensen kid (I think it was him) boosting what seemed like 50ft plus after every tack. Dr. Pat was also going off. Kombat kiting for sure but everyone came back smiling....so it's all good. Smile

In between sessions I glassed several rescues at Rufus. Someone flying a North Dice rescued two people who's kites lost pressure.

Nice to to see concern and decency out there.

The Chaos at the launch pocket was comical at times. But like noted.. all smiles out there and some nice boosts.

I was one who was rescued when kite lost pressure. Sure appreciate the tow in and someone else who got my board. I know if they hadn't helped me many others would have been there to lend a hand. You guys are great! Thanks!
