Cool! Where ya goin' this time Brazil? Leaving on the 8th or 9th?
(I know PKH is headed out on the 8th to Cozumel, I'm headed out on the 8th also to the West Indies.)

yea i just got back from kiwiland, theres some good kiting on the north island, if anyone ends up going there for buisness or somethin.. bring your kites! smaller ones is the name of the day.. oh and its summer there right now

yea ill try and post the picks of nz sometime, i have them all on dif memory cards and stuff. it was a sic trip tho, gotta do lota mt. biking single track, and saw some wild penguins. which is badass in itself.

Wild penquins.... thats cool!
Always thought it would be cool to put on a tux and stand in a group of penquins with a martini glass. Great xmas card.

Penguin Story for you.
Was in Ecuador helping an outfitter set-up a rafting concession - in a work/for play deal they sent me on a 3 day cruise to the Galapagos.
Stopped at one of the islands to snorkle forget which one (the one with the pinnacle in Master and Commander) - they keep you on a short leash - the islands are protected and you must have a naturalist guide at all times - which is supercool to protect the animals.
But I guess I went a bit farther than anyone on my swim - tons of cool stuff sea-iguanas, white-tip sharks, sea lions.
I come to this rock and really cute penguin is sitting on it.
No one is around - I'm thinking - gotta pet the penguin.
I slowly reach up out of the water (not to scare the cute little penguin).
And the little fucker launches onto my finger and lets out a death squawk.
He doesnt' let go - squawking louder - blood everywhere.
Finally I rip my finger out of its mouth and sheepishly swim back to the group.
Don't touch the wildlife.
