Today at the ES a guy parks his RV behind me and then cranks up the generator which runs all day long! Every time I returned to my vehicle it was running with the doors and windows closed and the A/C running full blast. Apparently there's no rule to prevent that but what about common courtesy and respect for others?

Definitely harshed my day.

Did he have a dog in his RV? If so, he gets a pass in my opinion. Most RV fridges run on LP or Electric or I would have guessed he likes his beer real cold.

LOUD! Admittedly I'm accustomed to the peace and quiet of a cg where everyone uses solar power and use of a generator is not considered kosher. But then again the ES is not a cg. Just not into the "big city" noisy environment. I should move to Pistol River for the summer.

Lot #1 across the street. If people want to run their generator all day - lot #1 is the place. Away from other people. Problem solved.

Truly amazining day of kiting. I kite the ES all season. Once on the water found a spot to myself and rode till my knees hurt. Great day/ glad so many could have such a good time.

Did you happen to ask the person running the generator?

Or, do you prefer to post your sniveling on a semi-anonymous forum?

Why don't you just go kite?

I bet you can't hear it from the water Smile

Frankly, I don't enjoy confrontations. Never did see anyone outside the RV anyway. Just PO'd that (some) people have no respect for others. Not a perfect world. 'Nuff said - I'm moving on. Have a nice day!
