Hurray for nwkite!!!
I don't care which way anyone runs out their lines. Then along comes some great tips for drift launching. I've never needed to drift launch, but I wondered how I would do it someday. "Keeping tension on my one of the front lines". Thanks for the tip DownStream.
It's little nuggets like this that I keep coming back for!
Don't tell anyone asking for lessons, but I learned how to kite by reading nwkite.com |

Personally I always J rig my lines but when self launching I'll walk downwind and do a full visual check before then walking back to where I rigged in the first place before launching. |

I always rid downwind unless something is preventing me from rigging that way. Makes it really easy to make sure everything is tangle free. _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |
