why do it standing when you can sit down?
took the sit down foil out last week to jones beach. great place to foil board with the lighter winds, no crowds, and nice wide river to play in.
a foot injury has kept me from kiting while standing, so I made a sit down version.
today marks 4 weeks since breaking my midfoot.
don't worry its a short video Laughing

So you could probably rig a bigger kite, make a two seater, and take a non-kiter for a ride with that setup.

SO HOW DID you injury your foot? Did you get your foot caught in a foot strap or something like that?

that sounds tempting!

I broke the 5th metatarsal when I was initiating a gybe. just misfired in the foot strap and thought I broke my pinky toe. its a pretty severe injury and just found out today will now require pinning.
summer is done for me.

Don't stop. Play with this over the summer. A kite boat/foil....two seater?
Please do it. You are on to something interesting with that seat. The mother of invention just found your foot.

WTF? That sucks and sorry to hear this Jim. Will you still be able to ride the airchair to get some time on the water or is summer just burnt toast?

Ooooooh Sad We all sat on the beach waiting waiting waiting for you at Jones yesterday. Are the pins a legacy of getting out on the water too soon?

Can I have your chair?

(just kidding) But , load the mod on your machine and fab me one. Knees are 65+ and gaining.
