Steve Perrone past last sunday night. He always had a smile and a good word for everyone. You will be missed.

Scout out some good kitespots for us. See you on the other side.

Sad, sad feelings on this.
Had just set him up with a new quiver of kites last year and was looking forward to seeing him back on the water this summer kiting.

He kinda marched to the beat of his own drum, but he was always, ALWAYS, polite, happy, and a genuinely good person to hang out with and you could count on him.

One of the original kiter and instructor crew here in the gorge and put his time in volunteering with clean ups and finding new people to introduce to kiting.
We had not seen him much in the past couple of years as he had taken up a "real job"as a welder(?) metalworks person, but he had started to pop back into the shop and at the beach in the last year with motivation to get back into the local kiting scene.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Wish I knew what happened, but hope mostly that he did not suffer and is happily flying on the otherside.

Sh^&*t!!! Rest in peace brother. So many good sessions together over the years. You were always looking out for others & so stoked to share your own passion for the sport with all. You will be missed, never forgotten. Sucks.

Good to cross ways on the beach path a couple weeks ago with him again. He was stoked to go and get the sunset session. Ride on Steve!

I took a lesson from him a few years back. His enthusiasm was contagious. I did not know him well but he seemed like a great guy.
