It looks like it might be a good Saturday to do my first downwinder there. 3-4 waves, wind predicted at Manzanita. What do you guys think?

Looks like a great weekend for downwinders. Manzo will likely be 24-28 avg and Shipwreck 16-20. Manzo is a sure thing, averaged 20 today, Shipwreck shows 14 but likely more. Meet at Shipwreck and shuttle up to Lot B. Or meet in front of Sunset Surf Motel at Manzo and shuttle to the southernmost parking lot at Nehalem State Park. Get out at 23B sign since there are no landmarks

Ikitesurf is calling for slightly less wind than I expected but still 100% chance at manzo, 75% at Shipwreck, 50% Jones and Sauvies:
7AM UPDATE: Not much to update you on this morning. The Gorge will enjoy summer-like temperatures, but light winds. Seems like a day for fishing or SUP. ... The North Pacific High will try to fill back in toward the coast but doesn't fill in enough to bring tight gradients. Meanwhile, an elongated upper ridge plants itself over the Pacific Northwest. This will bring sunny skies and the aforementioned very warm temperatures. It also kees pressure gradients flat to faintly easterly. This will keep winds across the Gorge light. Meanwhile, a modest afternoon thermal gradient helps Jones Beach to build to afternoon mid to maybe upper teen WNW winds and Sauvie reaches maybe mid teen NNW winds. As for the coast, NW winds pick up a bit.
Oregon Coast: Fair. The North Coast reaching NW mid to maybe upper teens with Manzanita reaching around 20. The Central Coast reaching upper teens to maybe 20. The South Coast reaching NNW low 20's. W swell 3 ft at 9 seconds.
Western Gorge (Jones Beach to Stevenson): Fair skies. Jones Beach reaching mid to late afternoon WNW mid to maybe upper teens. Sauvie reaching NNW maybe mid teens. Stevenson seeing light winds.
Corridor (Viento to Sandbar): Fair and warm with light and variable winds.
