I agree with KMUN.
Flatter tail (as I mentioned in my video), more buoyant, and softer/flexy material to absorb.
And this is exactly what I am experiencing with this soft core prototype silencer board.
Although the next proto has a little v in the tail, a little more concave on the bottom of the nose..... and a little concave on the deck.

Hi i kite part time in squamish bc which is very choppy.i use a 5ft6in north whip 2013 and it is awesome for chop.i also kite on the oregon coast and its just amazing in the waves and wind chop.so smooth!!cheers doug.
