haven't heard yet, but if last two years dates mean anything, it will be somewhere in the late june into early-mid july window. _________________ www.jimstringfellow.com |

Stingy is right, we usually just find a free weekend in those months.
We've been back and forth this year deciding if we should run it again. Do the people want a Huck Fest round 3? |

To add onto Mike's question of if people want a Huckfest.
Can we count on organizing a decent volunteer team for help with some or all of these tasks:
Set Up
Break Down
Launch/Land helpers
Rescue volunteers with Jetskis
Topic is already in the process of discussion for our next CGKA board of directors meeting.
Kinda kicking around the idea of the possibility of running an industry kite demo that same weekend before or after the event. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports

I've missed out on this event the last two seasons because the calendar filled up. Please pick a weekend for us out of towners to write on the calendar. _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |

do it!
you have my word I will help setup if that's what you need.
I had alot of fun last year riding on the back of the ski trying to shoot pictures.
I love how you guys ran it and appreciate that it's a lot of work and you make it look so well run and organized.
would love to see it again! _________________ www.jimstringfellow.com |

For the past few years, we organized the event while maintaining a rider-focused, grassroots vibe.
No sponsors (very limited), no media, and just kiters (weekend warriors, pros, kids, etc).
All there to huck themselves to new personal heights.
We set the window at 5 days (Wednesday – Sunday) to maximize the chance for strong wind for the 1-day event.
The whole event has been run by riders volunteering and participating. |
