Thinking of taking my 9 yr. old night skiing tonight, but just talked to someone that said they went up a couple weeks ago and it was so bad they turned around and left.
Anyone been up recently? Worth it?

| My wife and I went up a couple of weeks ago when it was freeze thaw conditions, and that was not bad when soft. There is a little new snow and so that should help out. We are heading up tonight with our 7 and 4 year old. If you see the little one harnessed up like Rudolf thats us!

| Make sure you are wearing a helmet. The three inches of new will make all the hazards seem like good places to ski.

Not sorry we went but conditions were pretty marginal. That didn't stop the frothy Portlanders from filling up the parking lot though.
Wet foggy snow gave way to good vis and extra firm but carvable hard pack. Meadows had all the snow makers blasting into the night.
