I doubt it. The water level looks pretty high.

Nice steady wind yesterday in Hood River . 10 -15 kiters , SUPers , Wind Surfers , Sail Boats.

Be careful of the slick mud at the ES site launch / land . Don't start off your season with a injury.

I heard second-hand that someone recently was able to wade out to a sandy setup spot from the far east end of the parking lot at Rooster. Anyone try it?

First time logging in NWKite! Amazing intel available here!

Reading the post "Spring is here", I was wondering if anyone will be at Fort Stevens tomorrow, it seems like a good spot for the conditions tomorrow Monday, 16th.

I intend to visit from Salem tomorrow and try to kite on probable Easter winds. Are there any other spots on the coast to ride during off-shore Easter winds? I am a recent transplant teacher in Oregon and it would be awesome to get to know people to kite with.

Fly high, ride safe.

Lot D, Rooster, and Stevenson are the main east wind sites, but I've been to Jones Beach twice with similar wind to Lot D but colder water and not quite as safe in case of a breakdown. Garibaldi in Tillamook bay shows good stats on really strong east days but I've never heard of anyone going. I would think Florence might be similar? I usually only go if Rooster/Corbett is at least 30 plus around sunrise. Since Rooster is flooded, Lot D and Stevenson would be my main choices but next time I think I'll stop by Jones on the way

Anyone hitting the ponds tomorrow? Curious to know how hard it would be to kayak up with gear to sand island at rooster. Current and wind in the same direction might make for too much work

Was a great day out at the ponds on Sunday- the conditions definately came together. Solid 12 meter winds, and warm air temps (in the sun)!
It was great to ride with everyone- probably about 15 kiters in the water!

I am interested in rooster today if anyone thinks it will go!

Has anyone else been having problems with 30knot wind? It isnt showing any data for me,
seems like its been like that since the fall. Could be my old computer, but I am wondering if it has just been offline for winter??

Looks good for both Stevenson and Lot D today. Both around 20 now but will probably 25ish around noon and I doubt they die off hard today.
Wish I could spare the time to drive to butter at Lot D but Stevenson will do
