After werky I enthusiastically pumped up my 10 mtr Slingshot RPM and went out. It was cloudy and rainy but windy, and a bit light so i could not get into the big sets farther out, but a good session was had for sure. It was rainy, so I almost passed. Reminded me of kiting in the rain in Oregon, but it was a tad warmer.

Swells are forecast today along with 15 to 25 NE trades. Kanaha is super fun on these days and not very crowded. The big crowds are usually starting leave when I get off work around 3pm. Funny but that timeframe is a great time to go as parking is easier to find and the wind is more settled.

If you come to Maui bring your big kites 14 and 12 and or 10. Rent a surfboard from Hawaiian Island Surf and Sport. If you need a guide give me ring and I'll point you in the right direction.

Best place to start is Kanaha. Best place to eat is Mama's. Best place to stay is the friends couch. Best happy hour is Charlies.
