Hoping someone is out there to buddy up a shuttle run. We'll be at sunset around 11:30.
If not the first run maybe second run?
We may just drop 2 kiters at sunset. Run the shuttle down 4 miles then rig and run to shipwreck, having the other 2 run the shuttle to shipwreck, if we only have one vehicle.
Hope to see some out there. |

Good time. wind was 18 building to 25mph. Waves were overhead to double overhead. one of the crew had a mint condition 8m cabrinha switchblade get swallowed and spit out in a pretty good oversize set on the outside break.
It is amazing how fast you can disappear in the ocean. I saw him behind me on one tack the next tack I couldn't spot his flourescent yellow kite even knowing where it should be. We searched for him for about ten minutes before dragging him in unharmed and then his shredded kite. |
