Wow, It's about time. Kind of shocked that they got away this long. I retired from bridge maintenance in Tacoma WA (gov'ment WSDOT) . In 2005, we had a compressor that dripped about 1 small drop every 4 minutes. Shut 'er down, suspend work for a month, paid a fine.
In our case a fisherman below noticed a "rainbow" when the petroleum hit the water... kinda difficult with a dam.

We found that this shortened the life of our equipment. Maybe there's better stuff around these days.
