				Just did mine with an electric hot xacto knife that you can buy at radio shack. Its usually an attchment to a soldering iron. It was super easy.     I think the one thing you should consider before doing it is that you need to make two parallel cuts to attach the rei knife case. The cuts should be spaced out more than less so there's less play when the knife is installed so it doesnt jiggle up and down.  Also pick a more rigid part of your harness so the knife stays in more snug. I put mine where my old lamo mini kite knife use to go.
