I fly the 12M with the 23"x27M bar (that is meant for the 14).
I think it flies better...a little faster turning, and as much low-end as I ever need @ 185lbs. It is more like my old 2012 14M, but still not as quick.
Every time I fly the 12M with the 20" bar I hate it...too slow.

So, try that "mod" and I think you'll like it better.

I had Airtime sew new attachment points closer to the wingtips and it helped speed up the turning in light to powered up conditions. Also, a wider bar but the same length lines helps. 23x24.

I have flown the 2015 Rally in 12m and 14m sizes. Laid them out side by side with 2014 Rallys. They look, fly identically. So I guess the SS wave kite is still to come??

Did you also lay one on top of the other to compare the size of the 12M 2015 vs 2104 12M?

I want to know if they are still selling kites that appear to be much bigger than they are labelled.

Well, I see that the 2015 Rally is out, and it looks pretty much exactly like the 2014.

I had wanted to replace my 2011 quiver, but that won't be with the 2015 models. Too bad they don't still make the 2011 model design.

Maybe its time to go Ozone.

I have heard they may release a wave kite in January. I am not sure anyone knows what's going on. Even if they do release a wave kite, it may be a different design from the 2012-12 rally. I don't like the 2015 at all. Huge bar pressure, the kites are easily 1 meter bigger than stated, and they turn very slowly. Big hang times if your into that freestyle riding from ten years ago. They are similar to the Turbines in the larger sizes. All the hallmarks of a SS kite. Well built but heavy, slow turning, huge bar pressure. Simple but good bar with stronger center lines. A kite for everyone, not wave riders.

There's an Airush Wave 9m in the classifieds for $550. Maybe he'll demo it. I have the same kite and it drifts great and is super smooth and fast. Looks like an RPM with a longer bridle and a little delta to the skinny leading edge. There's hardly any Waves around since they've been super popular in Asia Australia and our local shops didn't get any. The 9 has the power of an 8.5 while a Lithium 9 is more like a 10

Just saw a 2012 12m RALLY sold on this forum in SIX minutes. The seller refused to sell it unless the guy bought the 14m Rally as well!

SS:Do you think there might be some demand for this kite???

Or could just go with the company that invented the Delta that the Slingshot Rally tries to copy... The F-One Bandit Cool Ride a Bandit, its dialed already. Better than waiting for the Rally to get its act together.
