Went snowmobiling this last Sat. Tons of nice new pow pow to play in. However the main road from the parking lot to Lahar is washed out. I had to cross a 20' wide 2' deep river. Yee haw!

If you are not comfortable crossing moving water on the high side of a 15' waterfall. You should not go to St helens.

We were out there on Saturday and ended up going up to Worm Flow since the road is gone. The terrain was a little tight, but we got in some riding.

Yeah we went to the plains. Would have been perfect kiting. lots of wide open fresh snow and sunshine on a huge plain. NO wind though. We also headed around the mountain to three knobs and had a blast.

I am suprised they let people cross the river. The horse camp side is also washed out. It wont be fixed till next summer.

Didn't realize those things are amphibious - seen drunk guys take them out in the lake and sink - but crossing a river (sounds like a big deal - what the scoop)
