Thought about it.

The actuals didn't look very good (and still don't on the noaa real time sensors that last refreshed around 4pm).

And I got called into a late meeting, so I couldn't have made it anyway.

Anybody who wants to bring his chainsaw/axe/wood saw to start cutting the roots of that tree that is now on the beach would be helping the community.

I think the log is actually really cool and could be used for some take-off and landing-tricks but the roots sticking out will be deadly for a kite (or kiter) dropping on them.

It was mostly light wind, but picked up and got fun around 6pm. Stinking cold still though!

About that tree that drifted on to the beach near the waterline, I think our best option is to wait a month or so until spring run off and then try to float it off the beach. Its a whopper and it's going to be a problem when the beach starts to get crowded.

We also need to figure out how to take care of the reeds at the south end of the beach. They are slowly making their way north.

I'll probably hit it again tomorrow.
