Tony: Are you going to bear the cold and go for it a Rooster or maybe the ponds if its East, or are you staying with the white on the mountain?

OOhh, the ponds if it's blowing from the east....Nice...Sounds tempting...Haven't really thought about that...It migt be kind of chilly and mr. happy may not like it...Oh well...I haven't been out in the water in over a month....
Chanson, how cold do you think the water will be if I decide to head out to the ponds...The predictions say winds from the east starting this weekend...
All I have is a 4/3 fullsuit, gloves, and botties...No drysuit...
Whats your 2-cents...Any thoughts...?

tony:

looks like the water is 45 at both places, rooster and the ponds.

booties, gloves, and a 4-5 should be fine...is going to be sunny.

Still contimplating Sat or Sun...not sure which one.

Sun, looks better at rooster.

Hey Chanson,

Just quit the job here at HP... Headed down to teach skiing full time at Snowbasin for a month or so, and hit it hard down at Skyline... Too bad I am going to miss the event this weekend, but plenty of time to get good at snowkiting and work to photograph and video the local riders.
