 Tue Sep 17, 13 6:48 am Stolen in Seattle: 5'9" One-of-a-kind LF Kite Surfboard |

My car was broken into Sunday morning in Des Moines, just south of Seattle, and my Liquid Force 5'9" kite surfboard was stolen. The surfboard is a quad fin, and was in a Dakine black & blue surfboard bag. The board is gray with white deck pads, and is waxed in between the front and rear pads. This board is a one-of-a-kind because it is a prototype with glassed-in fins! Anyone who tries to remove the fins will be very confused. Pic of the board below.
I would sooooo appreciate it if you could be on the lookout if you scour craigslist or other online classifieds. I am in the process of notifying all of the shops in the Northwest. Please email with any information regarding the board. There will be a reward!

I can't reply to the post because they know my name, but maybe someone could send an inquiry about the "used board" and ask for pics. There are barely any of those boards out there (especially used), so I'm a bit suspicious.

This seller is about 6 blocks from my home. When I had the same thing happen with kite gear 2 years ago I notified the Tacoma Police Dept of the seller. Their policy is to provide no help until I can show a serial number of the stolen items.
I've left a voice and text on your phone. If you want me to do something tell me.

Kip do all a favor and go check the board out and fins. One of the kind fins. If it is do the right thing. Does this guy kite. Go strike up a conversation and the rest will be history!!

I would like nothing more than to go see this jerk. You all helped me so much 2 years ago when my garage got jacked, and I lost 4 Naish kites and a Mako. My first awareness of a sale was from reading this forum, and seeing my 9M Helix on eBay (2 days after the theft). It did me no good.
I will do all I can, but he seems to not be responding to inquiries.
If any of you receive a reply from him please PM this to me ASAP.
I'm only saying he is near my house from the little googlemap showing 6th & I street, Tacoma in the CL ad.
But again, other than looking at it to confirm what it it is, or paying his $$, my only tool of necessity would be the serial numbers of the goods.
Suggestions?

We're pretty sure this is a match, and thank you everyone for helping in this effort! I'd appreciate if there is no further contact with the guy as I'm going to contact the police in Des Moines who filed the original police report. I'll let you all know what happens!
