Sitting out at rooster. Big winds but no one here. Anyone else headed here? Anyone kiting anywhere else?

Unfortunately did not earn the accolades. No one showed and was not willing to self launch in that wind. Looks like I'll have to plan a bit better in the winter.

I was thinking about it, but ended up helping a friend move today... Don't know that the 7m would have work anyway though.

Was sorting out my gear to go yesterday and noticed my ultimate frisbee cleats - seamed like a warmer option - need another week for the Florida softness to wear off.

Plenty of beach upwind. None down by the pier. Well, skunkage only increased my anticipation for Dec weekend at St. Augustine followed by Maui. Any advice on either locale, location, kite size, wetsuit, etc? Seems like Matanzas is the place to go in St. Augustine. I've got one day in Maui. Where should I head to down there?
Thanks,
Eric

Mantanzas and check out Huegenot if you got the time - 30 miles north
