Ever the optimist, I'll go with Thanksgiving weekend, Nov 24th. I don't think access will be easy, but if there is snow, they'll be open.

Turned my pass in for a refund, shoulder is going under the blade (or scope I guess) in a couple weeks. Hopefully its better enough for me to kite by my Cozumel trip in Feb.

Hope its a killer season though, I'll probably start going up mid March or so.

I am hopeful that they open in December at least the hood river to meadows side so I am going to say opening will be first weekend in December.

that road is wacked. i think the hood river side will open by christmas. forget a quick fix for the portland side. that will take some time...

There is such a huge economic impact for the whole Mt. Hood community, so the DOT is going to be under big preasure to make this happen ASAP. I bet HR side by 12/5 & who knows about White River.

Yep, if there is bridge damage it will be a while. If its just a bit eroded around some abutments or something like that a few trucks of fill can patch that up. They will be fixing it in a hurry I would imagine , they know winter is no time to do big work. Rolling Eyes

Work at Bachi, and they said that skibowl might open in january, or late december, and medows, maybe not at all.. the winter supposed to be warm and wet this year..
