So the current date I am thinking is Saturday January 13th, as far as location goes what do you think of these options:

Option A) Get some place that's free, we won't have the room all to ourselves necessarily... but we would be able to setup a projector and check out photos and vids up until a certain time. Alibi is the current favorite for this option, they only promise the room until 8:30pm though and then Karaoke night starts (hmmmm.)

Option B) Rent a room, Lucky Lab will do $100 for the whole night and we get our own bartender. Only downside to the Lab is the only allow minors till 9pm... I think if we started early enough that wouldn't be a big deal though.

Maybe Amery would put up an extra piece of schwag we could auction off for $5-$10 raffle tickets to pay for the room. Or I could float it, you can all make it up to me by buying me drinks all night. Very Happy

What do you all think?

The Lab would be sick...easy to get to, lots of parking, probably a pretty big room yeah?

Lucky Lab sounds great and we could even have a dart tournament. Smile How about $5 entry fee? I'm sure we could get 20 people to show up!

I'd be for it but any kind of charging we'd have to do on the down-low, as they prohibit charging for entry into their room. It could just be on the honor system or something... any extra could go into next years party fund.

I checked out the room tonight and its pretty good size, plenty of room for us I think. It has a sweet bar inside the room... we'll have our own bartender so no waiting for fresh frosty wheat pops. Very Happy

What if we all just PayPal'd you, Phil? Sure we'd lose a little due to them taking a percentage, but I'd think we'd have enough people to cover that anyways...

I could lend my Infocus 7210 HD projector if needed, it looks best when sized over 100" though. Definitly good for pics and kite vids. does the room have a large wall?

We've got a pretty good projector if you need it. PC input, S-video, or RCA.

Walking Man in Stevenson has an upstairs room that they use for parties and such. Talk to Renee and maybe you can get a good (free?!) deal.

Tony - Thanks for the offer on the projector! Might need it... we'll see sounds like we could have some options. Stevenson would be sweet but we were thinking Portland just so it'd be closer for the koastal krew.

Then again, if we could time it with the local book club meeting.... Very Happy
