Anyone going out in the grey-rain-days.

Looks crazy at the coast like 40+ in Astoria.
And 20+ at Sauvies.
And rooster I think...
Wheres everyone at?

What about tomm..? I am thinking about heading to the coast.

just checked out vancouver lake thats probably the place to be today. pretty gusty but rideable. there are raw sewage overflow warnings posted for the columbia around frenchmans bar though so the water quality could be an issue. im still kinda sick so im not riding today but if the same southerlies are here tomorow i will deffinitly give the lake a shot.

Someone should go check out sauvies. Seriously...like right now. Sensor says 17 S, and that's a pretty sheltered angle for the location. I'd hit it raw dogg and bail but I'm at work. GO!

Got a 45 minutes sesh in at Sauvies ~2:30... Wind sucked, from kite falling out of the sky to slightly overpowered 11m, but it still worked. Checked out our normal launch first (where the boat used to be), but the wind looked better to the south end, so I rigged down there. Haven't been out in 3 weeks so I dunno, but it sure seems like that water has gotten COLD. Feels like Hood River runoff temp... Evil or Very Mad

P.S. - Even though I was kinda getting cold (in my 4.3), I only stopped because my kite's a piece of shit and doesn't like holding air in any of the struts!

i checked Vancouver lake on the south side but the wind didn't seem to be getting in there very well. Rode for about 90 minutes at Frenchmans Bar, it was good fun. Way overpowered on my 14. I tried to put all the signs about sewage out of my mind, wore my drysuit and jumped straight in the shower when i got home. This crappy weather and polluted water made feel like i was back home. Worst gastronenteritis i ever had was after surfing Aberavon harbour. If anyone is going to try and figure out Vanc. lake tomorrow or monday post what time and i'll try and come down there as well.

What the fuck does CSO stand for?!? Wink Nah, I just didn't drink any water...

Since I've gotta head back to Corvallis tomorrow, Rooster would be sweet if it's on (don't want any psycho shit beyond my 7m though)... Nate and I were talking about the coast, though I don't really think I'll have time. Gotta talk to 'Tuka' too!

70?, well we do have about 85, but still....it would great to have some wind with it. Was that too arrogant? Smile Didn't mean that.

In any case, I'll skip this island a get to Maui get some real wind when the trades comes back here maybe late Monday or Tuesday....no really now I'm just sitting indoors reading....
