My dealings with the kite scammers

Fellow kiteboarders,
Mark inspired me with his manure story. So, I decided to have some fun with these scammers that have been preying on us honest people trying to make a legitimate sale. Please read my e-mail correspondence with these bastards. I encourage all of you that have tried to sell a kite on iWindsurf and received an e-mail from these scammers to screw with them and get your own fake check.

We tried to take a photo of my 12” tube steak this morning. We couldn't get the "money shot". We will try again tomorrow morning. Does Mr. Dale have a big tube steak like me? I guess not otherwise you wouldn't be shopping. It may take you a few sessions to get used to riding such a big tube steak. You will definitely be happy and walking funny after a few rides. Regarding shipping methods, will this be to a P.O. box? If so, you will need a big box for such a large tube steak. It has been my pleasure doing business with you.

But there was a little problem which i guess we can handle with

use the money to pay the shipper and to also fix some other things
personally.But since,its now coming to you now,i guess i can be
assured in you that you can handle it with trust and have it sent to
the shipping company.Hope all is well.mail me back immediately,to let
me know that i can trust you to handle everything well.I will be
expecting your mail asap.

Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner. I was away from my computer. I
was getting in a few more sessions with my 12” tube steak and the little woman. Trust me, you will really have a good time riding it. Do you need a pump with it? Because of the size of the tube steak, it will take allot of pumping to get it to full size and firmness. It needs to be real hard for best performance.

So your secretary made a big mistake. He should be spanked. Trust me,
everything will work out as planned. When the check clears I will send
the excess money. $4000 is way too much money for a well used tube
steak.

I received the fake check today. Good try with this scam. I had a blast screwing with you. The only money that I will be out because of your scam is the money I will spend getting a frame for my fake check. $4000 for a 12” tube steak...get real.

It makes you wonder how far you can f*** with these shitheads? Maybe scan the check when it arrives, photoshop out the signature, then write back that they forgot to sign the check. (Attach the touched up scan of the check...) Get these guys pissed of at each other! "I thought you signed the check!" "No way, you were supposed to!" Convince them that you aren't too bright and really want to send them the money... I wonder just how pissed they'd get at each other? Just a thought... Twisted Evil

where's the wide angle photo of your tube steak? the check is fake, but you may have misrepresented your item for sale and it could be you that is being fraudulent.

I was hoping that I would inspire others to screw with these shit heads. Did I set the bar high enough? A little advice. Give them a fake phone number and use your work mailing address. The girls in the mailroom were wondering about my middle name on the envelope. I told them that I was Swedish.
