Make sure you ride with a buddy! Would be a long ass hike out if something happened.
We haven't figured out the wind at St Helens. I guess it has to be SW, but that usually means stormy. The Plains just seem to be in a giant wind shadow. |

I was thinkiing an east wind would work, which you get on sunny days up here, but so far I dont know just have to keep going up till something clicks.
It has been close to 10 years since I sledded, and I didnt have a kiter eye back then so I dont remember what the winds likes to do up thier.
I dont normally ride alone, just wanted to go for a ride when I had the time. I would of found somebody on the Lahar if I had problems, and it had been awhile since a fresh snow so their were lots of packed by snowmobile trails _________________ 1 OF 1 |

Right on.
On the way up to Snow King Sno Park on Adams today, I spotted at least sleds for sale in people's driveways. |
