Yeah I want to go and play with the new Torch 3. If you can figure out where to kite I will go.

I don't know... Pretty nice yesterday afternoon there. I had to drop off a kite at Airtime, Only two kiters with what seemed to be great conditions. It seems like about it for today...

super gusty yesterday east of Dougs and the skys were clear until late...would hike into the 30's then hit pockets under 10 suddenly...9's and 7M kites were the safer bet. Should clear out earlier today hopefully.

Looks windier in the Gorge but there's a nice swell pushing in at the coast...

The Spit was a total bust today. Sad Family obligations all weekend, so no Easterlies. Sad Anywhere blowing Monday?

I noticed that it did turn on after I looked at the Jetty wind reports. From up on Yaquina Head it didn't feel very strong but it looks like it came up enough. Didn't see any kites up at the jetty. I'm still on the injured list so I was just hiking with the dog. The swell was macking big - if there's any takers this weekend it could be epic kiting at the jetty if it doesn't go to easterly. Big swell and dropping tide in the afternoon not to be taken lightly however - lots of rip and big punishment if you find yourself down the beach in the wrong situation.

The swell's come down this morning to a more manageable size, but its still big. Peaked at 15 feet last night.

Grabbed some on an epic day at Siletz Bay Friday afternoon! High tide at 1:30 was perfect. Thanks to locals Jim & Ron for sharing their spot & giving me the lay of the land. Rode the skim in the butter and then hoped on the twin tip as the wind ramped out and the tide began running out. Perfect 12-15m conditions - of course I was on my Super Octane (17.5 Machine... Wink )

Wind looks good again today. Off to check out some tow-in surfing off the Inn at Spanish Head. I was told that guys are coming in to grab some of the big swell.

Lat, Onad Cool

LOL... I wondered when you would see that. Nothing personal. I've been plagued with bad pug experiences for about a year - I'm sure she's a sweety.
