| I think water cooling is over-engineered. The stock CPU heat sink, designed by the chip designer, is more than adequate so long as you get it seated properly.

I would agree, but which do you think will be the quietest....?
Some thing I'll take into account on the final decision.

If you get a good aftermarket large heatsink with fan (~30bux) along with some good thermal compound, the fan is nearly silent. And as long as you have good air flow through your case you won't ever need water cooling...unless you're trying to break every benchmark just for the sake of being able to brag in your signatures on gaming forums...to each their own
If you're gonna watercool, you might as well cool the vid card(s) too though since those fans tend to be the loudest and most demanding. I would say that if you go watercooling, just go full on.

Fuck spending extra money on watercooling unless you are trying to overclock everything you have. Most likely your machine will be plenty to run BF3 full bore if u spend any money on your video card. Then when shit gets better in the future you could invest in cooling and OC, but to do it to some fresh components out of the box is a lot of risk to take for not much benefit IMO

Wii Bowling. Once my knee is working again, Shaun White Snowboarding with a Wii balance board and a 138" screen. Does that make me a gamer?

More of a gamer than me. I play a game of angry birds once a month.

Personally I think big tvs blow for gaming. Good for watching movies tho. I been playing halo 4 every once in a while but xbox cant really compare to computer games these days if you have a nice rig.

Snowboarding on a balance board in front of a big screen is a kick in the ass! Tried it on a small (50") TV, not near as fun.

If you guys got Netflix check out documentary Indie Game the Movie
Really interesting seeing how hard these 1-2 person dev teams push themselves to get games out.
